Pam Garrison – Art Journal Play

Duration of Class: Two Days (12 Hours) // Medium: Mixed Media Art Journaling // Skill Level: All

Description

In this 2-day class we’ll be hand making art journals and then begin creating in them. We’ll begin by creating our book covers, using paper or paint, then we’ll hand-bind our books with a simple long stitch binding method. We’ll spend the rest of the time playing in our art journals! I’ll bring all my favorite supplies to share and demo the favorite techniques I use in my art journals. We’ll cover lettering, penwork, collage, colors, composition and more all on the pages of our art journals. We’ll use acrylic paints and inks, watercolors, markers, pencils, stamps and stencils etc. etc. Come join me for two days of creative play and leave with your own handmade journal, endless ideas for working in it, and discover new tools and techniques that will inform and expand your creative expression in all your art pursuits!
