Kieu Pham Gray – Geometric (Morning session – Necklace; Afternoon session – Earrings)

Duration of Class: One Day (6 Hours) // Medium: Metal Working // Skill Level: Confident Beginner/Intermediate (must have working knowledge of silver soldering)

Description

So, you know how to solder, but sometimes you just can’t get it right. In this class I will show you some highly irregular tricks to fix messy soldering. You will get a chance to put it to the test and by the end of the class, have geometric pieces to use on a modern bracelet or necklace. You will finish one or more pendants; however, beading will be finished on your own after the class. (Bead stringing will not be taught.)

In the second half of the day we will utilize skills learned in the morning to make earring jackets but with an extra challenge, soldering pins. Soldering fine points is a technique in itself. Students will be challenged to stretch their experience.
